John Flynn is one of the most famous and revered Australians
As founder of the Royal Flying Doctor’s Service his focus was the safety, health and wellbeing of the people of regional Australia. We at The John Flynn College continue to emanate his spirit. Not only to bring in young people from Regional Australia, and ensure their safety, health and wellbeing as they journey through their formative years, but to also provide a platform for them to be educated and later return to regional Australia to perpetuate John Flynn’s provision of safety, health and wellbeing that all regional Australians deserve.

Donate to one of our scholarship funds, or establish your own named scholarship. Our scholarship funds include
- Rural and regional scholarships established to improve access and educational opportunities for regional and remote Australians, who without the scholarship, would not have the financial means to attend College
- Indigenous Scholarships established as a means to offer fee relief to Indigenous students
- Government School Students Scholarships established for students from Australian Government Schools who would otherwise not have the financial means to attend College.

Our residents deserve world class. And if we’re going to bring young people from regional Australia, provide a platform for them to be educated and later return to the Regional Australia to perpetuate the provision of safety, health and wellbeing that all regional Australian’s deserve, we need state of the art facilities to do this!
The College’s capital works plan comprises a series of projects to upgrade and improve buildings, accommodation and shared spaces on College to be fit for purpose for modern education. Help us rebuild the Harrison and Philip Wings that brought you your good old days!
